Chaos at Heathrow! Emergency crews stormed London Heathrow Airport this afternoon after an Airbus A319 declared a full aircraft emergency.
Mayday Over Heathrow
Just before 5 PM, the Airbus sent out a desperate Mayday call. Pilots reported critical faults with the landing gear, hydraulics, and fuel systems.
Emergency teams rushed in, coordinated from Northern Perimeter Road, with multiple fire crews from the London Fire Brigade joining Heathrow Airport’s Fire Service.
Emergency Landing Success
The pilot managed to safely land the troubled A319 thanks to swift action from air traffic control and emergency services. Firefighters, paramedics, and airport staff were on high alert across the runway.
Thankfully, initial reports confirm no injuries to passengers or crew. Aviation officials are currently inspecting the aircraft.
