Thieves Strike Ramsgate Pick-Up, Snatch Priceless Tools
Kent Police are on the hunt after a brazen tool theft from a vehicle in Ramsgate. Crooks hit a pick-up truck on Dane Crescent, making off with high-value kit overnight.
What Was Stolen?
- Halfords Advanced socket and spanner set in a distinctive black case
- Makita 40v drill, plus two batteries and a charger
The raid took place sometime between 8.30pm on Thursday, April 17 and 10.45am the next morning. Detectives suspect the same gang may be behind recent theft sprees in nearby Newington and St Luke’s Avenue.
Police Urge Locals to Check CCTV and Report Suspicious Activity
PC Oli Sterling of Kent Police said:

Residents with private CCTV, doorbell cams, or dashcam footage from the night of April 17 should have a close look. Even small details could break the case.”
