A three-year-old female Boxer, described as ginger with white paws, a distinct white patch on the tip of her tail, and a small pimple on her left ear, was stolen from outside her owner’s front door at around 12:30pm earlier this week.

Weighing about 44 to 45 kilograms, the dog was more than just a pet. She was a vital support for her owner, who suffers from epilepsy. The theft caused huge heartbreak in the community.

“She’s been found — thank you so much to everyone who shared, supported and kept an eye out. It means the world to my neighbour and her family,” said a neighbour involved in the search.
