Man in His 40s Arrested After Dramatic Catford House Fire

A man in his 40s has been arrested on suspicion of arson with intent to endanger life following an early morning house fire in Catford.

Blaze Breaks Out on Stanstead Road

The London Fire Brigade rushed to the scene to tackle the flames, while Metropolitan Police swooped in to arrest the suspect. The man is now in hospital under police supervision as investigations continue.

Detectives are working to establish the cause of the blaze and are urging anyone with information to come forward.
