Woolwich Crash Sends One to Hospital – Injuries Not Life-Threatening
Emergency Rush to Burrage Road
A person has been rushed to hospital following a road traffic collision on Burrage Road, Woolwich, near Crescent Road. The smash happened just after 2:50pm on Thursday, September 19.
Emergency crews from the Metropolitan Police and the London Ambulance Service were quickly on the scene. They found one individual injured and treated them before taking them to hospital. Thankfully, the injured party’s condition is not believed to be life-threatening.
Paramedics React Quickly
A spokesperson for London Ambulance Service said: “We were called at 2.52pm to reports of a road traffic collision at Crescent Road, Woolwich. We sent an ambulance crew and a paramedic in a fast response car. Crews treated the person at the scene before conveying them to hospital.”
Police Confirm Ongoing Probe
The Metropolitan Police spokesperson added: “The collision occurred just before 3pm with one person treated for injuries not believed to be life-threatening.”
Authorities have yet to release further details on how the crash happened. The investigation remains ongoing.
