Driver Hospitalised After Shocking Crash with Parked Cars in Lewisham
A driver was rushed to hospital after smashing into several parked vehicles on Downham Way, Lewisham, just after 11:30am on January 7.
Emergency Services Respond Swiftly
Police and ambulance crews raced to the scene where the car had collided with stationary vehicles. Paramedics and an incident response officer quickly treated the injured motorist at the spot before whisking them off to a nearby hospital for further checks.
Driver’s Injuries Not Life-Threatening
Thankfully, the driver’s injuries are not believed to be life-threatening. The Metropolitan Police confirmed there have been no arrests linked to the crash.
A Met spokesperson said: “This seems to have been a car in collision with parked vehicles at around 11:30 hrs. No arrest. Driver taken to the hospital, but injuries aren’t life-threatening.”
