Tragic Motorcycle Crash Claims Life on A2 Near Whitfield
Police were called at 5.30pm on Friday 8 September 2023 after a serious collision on the Londonbound A2. A grey Vauxhall Corsa and a white and blue Suzuki motorbike crashed between the Whitfield roundabout and the Lydden junction.
Motorcyclist Dies at Scene
The rider, a man in his 30s, was pronounced dead at the scene. Emergency services were unable to save him.
Police Appeal for Witnesses and Footage
Officers from the Serious Collision Investigation Unit (SCIU) are investigating and urgently seeking anyone who witnessed the crash. They are also appealing for dashcam or CCTV footage from the area around the time of the collision.
