Chaos on the A12 as driver blatantly ignores traffic cones to dodge jam after crash

Police say the baffling incident happened on the northbound A12 close to the Marks Tey junction at around 1.30pm on Tuesday, 18 April.
Stuck in a standstill, a female driver was caught on camera stepping out of her car, moving several traffic cones, and daringly cutting through to the opposite carriageway.
Crash Causes Gridlock, Sparks Dangerous Move
National Highways confirmed a collision further up halted all traffic, causing the jam that the driver tried to escape by breaking the rules.
