Tragic crash in Twickenham leaves 27-year-old driver dead
Fatal Collision Hits St Margaret’s Road
Specialist police investigators are probing a deadly crash in Twickenham during the early hours of Saturday, 28 May. Emergency crews were called just after 12.20am following reports of a serious collision involving a car on St Margaret’s Road.
One Man Dead, Two Women Injured
The 27-year-old male driver was pronounced dead at the scene. His family have been informed. Two women, both 18, were rushed to hospital with injuries reported as non-life threatening.
Police Appeal for Witnesses and Dash Cam Footage
Detectives from the Met’s Serious Collision Investigation Unit are leading the inquiry. Detective Constable Caroline Landy said:
“This is an incredibly tragic incident and our thoughts are with the man’s family. We are working hard to establish exactly what happened. We are keen to hear from anyone who may have witnessed the lead-up to the collision or captured it on dash cam.”
