Young Man Dies After Incident in Chipperfield Drive
Tragedy struck on Friday evening when emergency services rushed to a home on Chipperfield Drive following reports of a seriously injured 22-year-old man.
The victim was taken to hospital but sadly died in the early hours of Saturday.
Woman Arrested as Police Investigate Sudden Death
A 23-year-old woman was arrested at the scene and remains in custody. Authorities confirmed that the victim and the suspect knew each other.

Senior Investigating Officer DI Ben Lavender called the incident “devastating” and vowed a thorough investigation to uncover the truth.
“There’ll be a continuing police presence at the scene while inquiries continue,” he said. “We’ll increase patrols in the area to support and reassure the local community.”

A forensic post-mortem is set to determine the exact cause of death.
Next of kin have been informed and are being supported by trained liaison officers.
