Arson Blaze Rips Through Welling Home
Police and firefighters rushed to a fire on South Gipsy Road, Welling, on the night of Wednesday, 14 July. The London Fire Brigade were called at 11:06pm and quickly arrived on scene.
The blaze was brought under control by around 12:30am. Thankfully, no one was injured in the fire.
Arson Suspected, No Arrests Yet
Authorities are treating the incident as arson. No arrests have been made so far, and the investigation is ongoing.
Detective Sergeant Danny Banks of the Serious and Complex Investigations Unit said the victims, who are well-known on social media, have endured a traumatic ordeal. Not only did they lose their home, but they also faced unfounded rumours claiming they started the fire.
“The victims are not responsible for this incident and remain supportive of our investigation,” DS Banks said.
