Teen Arrested in Chatham Over Drug and Knife Charges
Suspected Drug Deal Sparks Police Action
A 16-year-old boy was slapped with multiple charges after a police patrol caught wind of suspected drug dealing on Gordon Road, Chatham. Kent Police stopped the teen around 1pm on Tuesday, 13 April 2021, acting on their suspicions.
Crack Cocaine, Cash and Hunting Knife Seized
Following intense enquiries, officers uncovered a stash of crack cocaine, cash, and a hunting knife on the teen. The haul prompted more serious accusations.

The accused, from Croydon, appeared at Medway Magistrates’ Court on Wednesday, 14 April, and was remanded to youth detention. He is due to return to Medway Youth Court on Monday, 19 April.
