Teen, 15, Held Over Murder and Robbery in North London Stabbing
15-Year-Old Arrested on Murder Suspicions
A 15-year-old boy was arrested on the afternoon of Friday, 19 February, suspected of murder. He was also taken in on suspicion of robbery linked to another crime. Authorities have since charged him with murder and handling stolen goods.
Appears in Court, Remanded to Old Bailey
The teenager appeared at Highbury Corner Magistrates’ Court on Saturday, 20 February. He has been remanded to face a hearing at the Old Bailey on Tuesday, 23 February.
Man Found Stabbed Inside Car – Dies at Scene
Police were called to Jarrow Road, N17, at 7:21pm on Wednesday, 17 February after reports of an injured man found unresponsive inside a car. Officers arrived alongside paramedics and the London Air Ambulance.
Gabriel Bringye, 37, from the local area, was discovered with stab wounds. Despite emergency efforts, he was pronounced dead at 8pm.
Investigation Underway
Gabriel’s next of kin have been informed and are receiving support from officers. The murder probe is being led by homicide detectives from the Specialist Crime Command.
