Police are on the lookout for witnesses after a 46-year-old man was assaulted on the A3093 in Andover yesterday morning (24 September).

Victim Attacked After Pulling Into Layby

The victim, a local from Andover, had stopped in a layby at around 7am alongside another vehicle when the attack happened. He suffered injuries to his legs and face during the assault.

Suspect Arrested and Released, Investigation Continues

A 26-year-old man was arrested on suspicion of assault occasioning actual bodily harm. Although he has been released from custody, police confirm he remains under investigation.
