Nine Men Busted in Camden Drugs Raids
Police have charged nine men after a major dawn swoop on drug dealers in Camden.
Following a seven-month probe into drug dealing in Queens Crescent, officers executed 19 search warrants from 4am on Wednesday, 26 August.
High-Profile Gang Unit Leads Massive Operation
The Central North Gangs Unit spearheaded the raids with backup from firearms officers, the Territorial Support Group, and the local Violence Suppression Unit.
The crackdown targeted a string of suspects involved in the supply of class A and B drugs across Camden.
Notorious Names Hit with Serious Charges
- Hendrick Bungisa, 23 – Conspiracy to supply class A drugs. Remanded until 25 September.
- Helije Bungisa, 28 – Same charges. Remanded until 25 September.
- Gercelain Bungisa, 28 – Same charges. Remanded until 25 September.
- Jamaal Bradley, 26 – Charged with supply and possession with intent to supply class A drugs plus possession of criminal property. Bailed until 24 September.
- Adam Fontana, 24 – Charged with supply of class A drugs, possession of class B drugs, and possession of criminal property. Remanded until 24 September.
- Eliott D’Sane, 25 – Charged with multiple supply offences, possession of class B drugs, ammunition, and criminal property. Remanded until 24 September.
- Anthony Drummond, 18 – Charged with being concerned in and supplying class A drugs, including nine counts of supply. Remanded until 24 September.
- Vincent Breslin, 36 – Two counts of supply class A drugs. Remanded until 24 September.
- Brian Gleeson, 57 – Charged with supply of class A drugs. Bailed until 24 September.
Others Arrested, Some Released Under Investigation
- Two men, aged 18 and 21, were arrested on suspicion of possession with intent to supply class B drugs but have been released under investigation.
- Three men in their 30s were arrested on suspicion of possession with intent to supply class A drugs, ammunition, and firearms. They remain released under investigation.
- A 34-year-old man with similar charges has also been released under investigation.
Police say the investigation is ongoing as they clamp down on drug crime in Camden.
