Gunfire Erupts in Barking – Suspected Dealer Targeted
Police are at the scene after a shocking shooting in Barking, where a suspected drug dealer came under attack.
Shots Fired in Broad Daylight
Officers rushed to Wilmington Gardens at 2.14pm on Thursday, 4 June, following reports of gunfire. Specialist firearms teams joined the response, along with London Ambulance Service and London’s Air Ambulance.
Two Men Hurt, One Critical
- Two men in their 20s were found at the scene.
- One suffered gunshot wounds and is now in critical condition in hospital.
- The second man was also hospitalised but his injuries are non-life threatening and not from gunshots.
No Arrests Yet – Police Seek Witnesses
The crime scene remains sealed as officers piece together what happened. So far, no arrests have been made.
