A3M Shut Southbound After Single-Car Incident Near Waterlooville
The A3M in Hampshire is shut southbound between Junction 2 and Junction 3 near Waterlooville. Hampshire Police are leading the investigation after a crash involving a single Volkswagen Golf.
Investigation Underway Since Midnight
The road has been closed since just before midnight Friday as officers from Hampshire Roads Policing carry out their enquiries. The incident has caused major disruption on this busy route.
Follow Diversion Signs to Avoid Delays
Drivers are advised to follow the “Solid Black Triangle” diversion. Here’s the official detour:
- Exit A3M at Junction 2
- At the roundabout, take the 3rd exit onto B2149 (Dell Piece West)
- Continue to the A3 berkshire999.co.uk/where/portsmouth/" title="Portsmouth" data-wpil-keyword-link="linked">Portsmouth Road junction, turn left onto A3
- Follow A3 into Waterlooville
- At B2150 Hulbert Road roundabout, take 1st exit onto B2150
- Follow B2150 to A3M Junction 3 and take 3rd exit to rejoin A3M southbound
