Three British Airways Staff Die in Horrific New Year’s Eve Crash Near Heathrow
Tragedy struck near Heathrow just before midnight on New Year’s Eve as three British Airways employees died in a fatal collision. Friends have named the victims, while a fundraising page has already raised over £35,000 for their families.
Victims Identified
The crash involved a white Toyota Yaris and a DNATA HGV at a junction in Stanwell, Surrey, at 11.39pm on Tuesday. Those killed are BA crew members Joe Finnis, 25, Dominic Fell, 23, and 20-year-old Racheal Clark. Two men occupied the front seats and Racheal was the rear passenger. Another 25-year-old woman in the Yaris remains in hospital with serious injuries.
Crash Details and Investigation
- The collision happened at the junction of Bedfont Road and Long Lane.
- The HGV veered off the road, ending up in the Longford River alongside Bedfont Road.
- The lorry driver was taken to hospital as a precaution; no arrests have been made.
- The road remains closed this morning as recovery efforts continue.
Sergeant Chris Schultze of the Surrey and Sussex Roads Policing Unit said: “Our thoughts are with the family and friends of those involved in this collision at what is an extremely difficult time.”
