Jobsworth burglars strike in Aldershot – motorists urged to help
Hampshire police are on the hunt after crooks smashed their way into a home on North Lane, Aldershot. The raid happened between 7.50am and 4.45pm on Wednesday, 27th January, during a busy day of roadworks-induced traffic chaos nearby.
Traffic queues could hold vital clues
Officers are urgently appealing to drivers who were stuck in the snaking queues caused by temporary traffic lights on North Road. The jam was right outside the targeted property, meaning motorists might have spotted suspicious activity or caught the crooks on dashcam.
Jewellery stolen in messy raid
The burglars forced open the front door and carried out a messy search inside. They grabbed a stash of jewellery before making their escape by climbing out of a rear window.
