Teens’ Bike Stolen in Violent Gosport Chase
Police are hunting for info after a brutal bike snatch from a 15-year-old in Gosport.
Attack at Gosport Ferry Terminal
Around 7.30pm on Monday, 4 February, the teenage victim was near the Gosport ferry terminal when one boy tried to snatch his bike. When the boy fought back, another youth punched him.
Chased, Shoved and Left Injured
The victim fled, with both boys giving chase. The drama continued outside Ellys 1 Store on South Street, where the teenager was pushed over shop signage. Terrified, he ran to Nelsons bar and called the police.
Police Appeal for Witnesses
Both culprits escaped, one on foot and the other riding off on the stolen bike.
Police Staff Investigator Victoria Lovelock said:
“I want to hear from any witnesses, especially taxi drivers with dashcam footage. Also, if anyone was offered a bike by two youths around that time, get in touch.”

Suspects Arrested But Still Under Investigation
Two Portsmouth lads, aged 16 and 17, were arrested over robbery but have now been released under investigation.
