Camden Crime Spree: Another Arrest Made in Double Murder and Assault Case
Detectives have snapped up another suspect in a grim Camden crime saga involving two murders and multiple assaults. On Monday, April 23, an 18-year-old man was detained at a Camden residence over murder allegations.
New Arrest in Chilling Camden Murders
The latest suspect is currently held at an East 1 police station. This comes after an 18-year-old was arrested back on March 27 on suspicion of grievous bodily harm (GBH), attempted GBH, two murders, and violent disorder—all linked to violent incidents from February 20.
The earlier suspect has since been released on bail, expected to return to court later this month.
Violent Night in Camden: Stabbings Rock the Area
- February 20 (8pm): A 17-year-old boy was found stabbed in Aldenham Street with non-life-threatening injuries.
- A 24-year-old man was also attacked but escaped serious harm.
- Four men aged 20 to 24 were arrested on February 21 on suspicion of GBH; they remain under investigation.
- At 8:30pm the same evening, 17-year-old Abdikarim Hassan was found stabbed on Bartholomew Road and died at the scene.
- At 10:13pm, 20-year-old Sadiq Aadam Mohamed was located with stab wounds on Malden Road; he also died at the scene.
Three Charged as Camden Murder Inquiry Deepens
The Met’s Homicide and Major Crime Command have now charged three males over the February 20 chaos:
- An 18-year-old charged on February 25 with two counts of murder, GBH, and attempted GBH.
- Another 18-year-old charged on March 1 with the same counts.
- A 17-year-old charged on March 13 with two counts of murder and violent disorder.
Detectives vow to crack the case soon. Enquiries continue.
