Hospital Worker Busted Trying to Meet 14-Year-Old Boy at Queen Alexandra Hospital
A hospital worker with daily access to children has been arrested in a disturbing child grooming case at Queen Alexandra Hospital in Portsmouth.
Shocking Allegations Against X-Ray Staffer
Mark James, who works in the hospital’s X-Ray department, allegedly arranged to meet a 14-year-old boy during lunchtime in the hospital toilets. Police swooped after uncovering a string of messages where James arranged the meeting and sent graphic images to the boy, fully aware of his young age.
Warped Worker Caught in Undercover Sting
James, who has access to sensitive hospital files and patient records, was caught after a coordinated police operation. Footage from a sting at his Portsmouth flat shows James admitting to the sick acts. He remains in custody at Portsmouth Central Police Station, awaiting further questioning.
James Shows No Remorse, Worried About Partner
When grilled about his shocking behaviour, James brushed it off as “stupid” and appeared more anxious about his partner discovering his activity on the dating app Grindr than the fact he was grooming a child.
Hospital Responds to Serious Claims
A spokesperson for Queen Alexandra Hospital said: “We are aware that a serious allegation has been made against a member of staff and we have commenced a full internal investigation. It would be inappropriate to comment further on the details of the case at this time.”
