East London Teen Nabbed Over Terror Material

Detectives swooped this morning, Wednesday 25 October, to arrest a 17-year-old boy from east London. Cops detained him at around 7.20am on suspicion of spreading terrorist material.

Held Under PACE, In Custody Now

The teenager is currently held at a south London police station under the Police and Criminal Evidence Act (PACE). This arrest comes hot on the heels of a similar crackdown earlier this month.

Earlier Arrest Links in Terror Probe

On Wednesday 11 October, police arrested a 43-year-old man from east London on the same charge. He was also held under PACE and later released on bail, set to return in early November.
