Man Killed in Horror Fareham Crash – Police Hunt Witnesses
Tragedy struck Fareham in the early hours of Friday, 11 August, when a 23-year-old pedestrian was fatally hit on Highlands Road.
Officers rushed to the scene shortly after midnight following reports of a collision involving a Peugeot 206 and the pedestrian. Despite emergency efforts, the young man from Fareham was pronounced dead at the scene. His family have been informed and are being supported by specialist officers.
Two Arrested on Dangerous Driving Charges
Police have arrested two men – a 23-year-old from Fareham and a 25-year-old from Portsmouth – on suspicion of causing death by dangerous driving. Both were released from custody but remain under investigation.
