Dramatic Rescue as Dinghy Capsizes Off Lymington Coast
A tense afternoon rescue unfolded after a small boat capsized off the coast near Lymington. Coastguard search and rescue teams, alongside the Lymington lifeboat, rushed to save four people stranded at sea.
Four People Plucked from Water
The lifeboat was launched just after 3pm following reports that a small dinghy carrying one adult and three children had overturned. The National Coastguard Operations Centre confirmed the incident happened around 3pm.
One Treated for Hypothermia, Others Shocked
Paramedics treated one adult for hyperthermia at the scene. The three children and the rest of the crew appeared in good health but were understandably shaken by the ordeal.
