Raiders Strike Twice at Southampton Road Argos
Hampshire Police are on the hunt after two daring burglaries at the Argos store on Southampton Road, Titchfield. Both raids happened under cover of night, with thieves breaking in through the rear entrance.
£1,000+ Stolen in Midnight Raids
Officers are still tallying the stock, but early estimates suggest looters made off with over £1,000 worth of goods. The break-ins occurred between 2:00am and 3:30am on Monday, February 29, and again just after midnight on Thursday, March 1.
Police Appeal for Witnesses
“Did you see or hear anything suspicious in Southampton Road during those hours?” asked investigating officer DC Sharon Lewry. “This is a quiet area in the early hours, so any unusual sightings could help us catch those responsible.”
The force is reviewing CCTV footage and urges anyone with information to come forward immediately.
